At THE VAULT, watches are not simply our profession; they are our passion. This passion, combined with over 30 years of experience in the luxury retail environment, inspired the creation of THE VAULT in 2015. Today, we are proud to be South Africa’s premier retailer of luxury Swiss watches.

Our journey began in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, before expanding to a multi-brand point of sale at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria. We later opened our first Breitling Boutique in the Diamond Walk at Sandton City, Johannesburg, establishing Africa’s first Breitling Boutique.

Since then, THE VAULT has continued to grow, with the opening of our Breitling Boutique at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, followed by our multi-brand boutique at Umhlanga Arch in KwaZulu-Natal. These locations further extend our presence across South Africa, offering clients access to an exceptional selection of Swiss watchmaking within sophisticated and welcoming environments.

Across all our locations, our highly trained teams bring extensive international brand knowledge and a genuine passion for watchmaking. We pride ourselves on offering expert guidance and a personalised experience, whether clients are purchasing their first luxury timepiece, adding to an established collection, or seeking professional advice on the care and maintenance of their watch.

Our carefully curated portfolio includes some of the world’s most respected Swiss watch brands, selected for their heritage, craftsmanship, innovation and enduring appeal. As an Official Rolex Retailer, as well as an authorised retailer for leading luxury watch maisons including Breitling, Tudor, Cartier and A. Lange & Söhne, we are committed to representing each brand with the expertise and standards it deserves.

We also take immense pride in being the only authorised Rolex Service Centre in South Africa. Our specially trained watchmakers and staff are experts in Rolex and Tudor maintenance and repairs, ensuring that every timepiece entrusted to us receives the highest level of care and attention. As part of the global network of Official Rolex Retailers, we adhere to Rolex’s stringent standards, with watchmakers trained by Rolex to provide professional servicing and care.
